FF Sells 500th Story

We are happy to announce that First Features has now sold 500 real life stories to the national media since it started business in 2005.

This landmark is one we’ve worked incredibly hard to reach but we couldn’t have done it without the help of our clients who contact us with their amazing true life experiences. So thank you!

From crime and health stories to tales of loverats and pets, we’ve helped hundreds of people to see their true stories in print. For many it has been life-changing and we are proud to have been part of that experience.

First Features set out with the aim of helping the public to sell their true stories for the right price, to the right publication. Almost five years on, this is just what we have done.

National newspapers like The Sun, The Daily Mail and the Sunday Mirror as well as countless women’s magazines including Take A Break, NOW, Reveal, That’s Life! and Cosmopolitan have all bought stories from our clients, and continue to come to us when they are looking for something in particular.

Thousands Flock To FF Site

Since the beginning of this year our website www.firstfeatures.co.uk has welcomed almost 18,000 visitors from across the world, all hoping to get their stories published.

That means an average of 50 internet users each day come to us for advice about getting national coverage of their real life stories.

And they’re not just from the UK, either. Since January, we’ve had hits from around the globe, including the USA, Canada, Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Australia, India, Spain, Ireland, Brazil, Latvia and Sweden.

Although most of our work appears in British titles, we are able to help people sell their stories to publications in many of these countries as well. In the past couple of months alone, Brazilian Cosmopolitan and Australian Woman’s Day, have bought stories from our clients.

We’re happy to boast a site that’s not only informative but user-friendly, and one which tells you about us, as well as asking about you.

Our ‘Single and Fabulous’ Girl Has a Hoot on Cosmo Shoot!

In late November, we put our girl Ali Morton forward for a glam shoot with Cosmo and she loved every minute.

Ali called to tell us how she’d had a lucky escape when she called off her wedding earlier this year so when Cosmo came to us looking for women to talk about their fabulous single lives, we put her forward.

Within days, Ali was getting paid to be pampered and pose for some gorgeous photographs, which she got to keep at the end!

“It was such an awesome experience,”she says. “It was me and two other girls. We all got dolled up in amazing clothes and shoes and had our hair and make-up done then posed around a vintage car. It was so much fun.”

Ali’s shoot will appear in January’s issue of Cosmo and we can’t wait to see the finished product.

She says: “I’m so glad I did it. The cash was really useful but it was such a confidence boost as well. I can’t wait to see it.”
